It is NOT an American photo of the aftermath of bombing Tokyo during the Occupation of Japan. See the companion photos of BOMBING TOKYO that I have listed separately.<br>Photo is from Senior Master Sergeant Stephen Bujhler Henderson (who went by "Joe") of the US Army Air Forces. Henderson was an AAF photographer who was an aerial photography instructor at Lowry Field, Colorado (1943-1944) and then was sent to Europe to photograph the war in England, Belgium, and Germany (1944-1945). After VE Day Henderson was sent to the Pacific Theater via Guam and then to Occupied Japan to photograph Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki.<br>SORRY.
